Transforming a Performance Vehicle for an Interactive Theme Park Experience
Scenic Solutions partnered with Cedar Fair to customize the SoundCycle performance vehicle for Valleyfair Amusement Park in Shakopee, Minnesota. Designed as a mobile entertainment experience, SoundCycle features performers riding a custom electric tricycle while playing live music, singing, and dancing throughout the park. Scenic Solutions transformed the base vehicle into a themed attraction that supports the show’s energetic atmosphere and visual identity.
Custom Fabrication for a Mobile Performance Vehicle

The project began with a standard electric tricycle, which Scenic Solutions modified to create a distinctive mobile performance platform.
- Customized the vehicle with decorative musical instrument components.
- Fabricated and installed a custom frame to securely support the keyboard.
- Secured the drum set for reliable operation during live performances.
- Painted the tricycle from its original blue finish to a vibrant raspberry pink using Scenic Solutions’ car-sized paint spray booth.
Integrated Special Effects

- Installed a battery-operated Look Solutions Power-Tiny fog machine.
- Integrated smoke-enhanced trumpet features powered by the portable fog system.
- Created a mobile effect that complements the live musical performance while remaining fully self-contained.
