ANCHORS AWEIGH PARADE

The “Anchors Aweigh” parade takes place along the Royal Promenade on ship days. Custom floats, moved by the performers, create a whimsical parade of moving ships where dozens of performers and dancers do battle for the amusement of the spectators. 

VENUE: Symphony of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas

YEAR: 2018 and 2019

  • Castered metal frames with a quilted fabric “skin” depicting ships themed as pirate, Viking, colonial navy, far east dragon, and Sindbad
  • Multiple Segways with light-weight boat-like frames matching the larger ships
  • Set dressing consisting of a variety of banners, pennants, bobbers, signs, pilings, anchors and other props
